Many thanks to the IMD and Kirsten Reese for the acces to the archive.
Interactive piece for 6 readers, electronics and active audience.
The piece is based in the women programming performances during the Summer Courses in Darmstadt from 1946 to 2018. It was realized during the workshop “Composing with the archive” given by Kirsten Reese, Darmstad Summer Course 2018.
The piece is inspired in the research made by American Composer Ashley Fure about the statistics between women composers performed during Darmstadt Summer Courses in relation to man composers.
The electronics are made with an anthropology approach of the presence of man and woman recorded voices as the first man and woman ever recorded or historical speeches of feminism as Simone de Beauvoir.
