The Potsdam conference is focused on climate communication. It initiates the exchange between artistic creativity and scientific, social and humanities research in accordance with the conviction that sustainability transformation can support the necessary change in consciousness in society, particularly through artistic, sensual formats. The conference enables the far too little practiced exchange between natural sciences, social sciences and humanities research and artistic creativity, curated and moderated from the perspective of music, sound art and music research. Disciplines such as environmental psychology, sustainability sociology or acoustic ecology meet sound art, eco-musicology or the instrument moor. The formats used correspond to the diversity of the speakers, such as lecture and concert performance, lecture, poster session, concert event or panel discussion.
