My research is primarily centered on Biomusic, exploring the realms of acoustic ecology and interdisciplinary, intercultural studies of soundscapes. I am particularly interested in the dynamic interplay between art and science from an ecocritical perspective. I engage in diverse concert formats, ranging from musical theater to immersive multichannel sound installations and hybrid forms, all aimed at fostering a contextualized listening experience deeply embedded in the geocultural and biopolitical dimensions of sonic events.<\/p><p>I am the founder and director of the Acoustic Ecology Lab in Mexico. A space for epistemic and creative exchange to promote the development of environmental sound art.<\/p><p>I have received various grants and awards for my work, the most recent of which are: \u201cErnst von Siemens Musicstiftung 2026,\u201d \u201cIKF Goethe-Institut 2025\u20132026,\u201d \u201cErnst von Siemens Musicstiftung 2025,\u201d \u201cSNCA 2023\u20132026\u201d; \u201cSharing Knowledge\u201d from the Danish Composers\u2019 Society and Art Music Denmark in collaboration with Initiative Neue Musik, Berlin 2023\u20132024; \u201cInternationaler Koproduktionsfonds 2022\u20132023\u201d from the Goethe-Institut, \u201cJ\u00f3venes Creadores 2021\u20132022\u201d from FONCA; \u201cComposer in Residence 2021\u201d by the Crespo Foundation in the \u201cArt\/Nature Nature\/Art\u201d program, Glenkeen Garden, Ireland;  \u201cComposer in Residence 2019\u201d by the Archiv Frau und Musik in collaboration with the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt, Germany. I was a fellow of the FONCA-UNAM Art, Science, and Technology program for 2019\u20132020, with the project \u201cBiomachines\u2014Animals of the Wind,\u201d specializing in bioacoustics, pre-Columbian acoustic systems, and mechatronics. \u201cIbermemoria Sonora y Audiovisual 2021\u201d in collaboration with Abirds and the Center for Biological Research at UAEM, among others.<\/p><p>I have premiered more than 57 works in different formats in more than 18 countries between America and Europe, in international festivals such as Time to Listen in Berlin, Leicht \u00dcber Linz, Darmst\u00e4dter Ferienkurse, Festival Internacional Cervantino, Ars Electronica, Forum Wallis, FIMNME, among others, which has been performed by internationally recognized performers and ensembles such as Neue Vocalsolisten, Liminar Ensemble, UMS N JIP, Duplum, Performing Precarity Oslo, Patricia Garc\u00eda, Sarah Maria Sun, Johannes Fischer, among others.<\/p><p>I studied a Master's Degree in Musical Creation, New Technologies and Traditional Arts at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero; and a Specialization in Object Theater, Interactivity and New Media at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes, in Buenos Aires-Argentina, with the support of the program Studies Abroad 2015-2017 of FONCA-CONACYT. I graduated with Honors in 2014 from the Bachelor's Degree at the Faculty of Music of the UNAM.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
